AMERICAN ACCENT COURSE

I developed this course, because I found that many students/artists find it difficult to understand how to produce an American accent which sounds “natural” and not too “over the top”. This course focuses on establishing a neutral American sounding voice, one which is similar in form with New York American Speech. I have trained many actors seeking to broaden their Accent Skills so as to work abroad.

Students Learn:

Vowel sounds; Monophthongs, Diphthongs, Triphthongs; Articulation of vowel sounds; Vowel pronunciation; Breaking down vowel sounds; Consonant pronunciation; Tone, Textual analysis on practice material, Modulation and Verbal Dynamics.

Duration: 11 weeks @ 1hr per week
