I discovered that there's no single best vacation home rental site, each one has pros and cons, but some are simply the best considering the money left in your pocket and the chances of getting a booking.

Certainly the top sites must be those with the most listings, like:

3. World Solutions -- www.worldsolutions.co.za - is a world wide website. Listing is free. Guests pay no booking fees. No VAT. Guests pay Hosts directly. Hosts pay no fees. It does not provide a bookings system. Holiday makers contact Hosts directly.
